I think the course is suited to a more workshop style rather than straight delivery . The trainer had a lot of ground to cover in a limited time.

Hard topic to stay engaged in as can get quite legislative heavy. Trainer wasn't as engaging as the trainer on my other course, but that could just be as the topic isn't as much to my interest.

Interesting and informing day

Really useful. A little dry, but that's the nature of the topic. Helpful links to practice throughout.

I think it would be good to have a Pediatric specific training on capacity in future for specialist teams. Great knowledge by trainer and good to have the legal perspective and background context.

Really good session which gave me a lot of food for thought around how I approach negotiating, I found the case studies very helpful, particularly case study 3. Some of the conversations preparing for the negotiations in our teams were not very helpful and caused more questions than they solved, so more steers on what discussions in teams should cover would have been helpful to prevent people going off on a tangent!

The course is relevant to my role and very educative

Great course instructor who was so interesting esp drawing on his personal experience. The course was interesting although probabaly not as relevant to my role as a complaints investigator.

Hard to get examples of what we might be called to court for but good overall view of processes and procedures

The course was engaging, with a variety of tips and presentation styles that kept my attention. Assertiveness stood out as an area to be more mindful of. Revisiting the Parent-Child model was a helpful reminder, and the course included plenty of useful references.
