Would be helpful to have been given prep checklists and joint statement templates (unless they are in course accompanying material)

This Course was very complete, fulfilling doubts and challenges of my practice. I liked the practical approach of the MCA; the legislation review, and clarity of doubts. The Case reviews were well chosen and made us think and discuss on Ethics, Law and Best Interest Decisions. The Course was very well organized, with full information to revise in the future. Please, I would like to have the presentation sent to my email, as I found it very useful to revise key points of the course. I feel grateful and wish we can have an extension of the course to improve our practice. Thank you.

A fantastic course; I would be grateful for more social work related case law.

Sue's training approach is accessible and open but rich with a depth of knowledge that gives confidence to me as a learner and places my practice within a human rights foundation from which to explore.

As a student social worker, my knowledge at the beginning of the course was quite limited, particularly in terms of practical experience. Sue created space for discussions where experienced social workers could share examples from practice, and she explained the relevant legislation very clearly, which I found extremely helpful. Sue delivered the course content in an excellent way that was accessible and easy to understand, even for someone with limited knowledge and practice experience. The integration of case law throughout the course was particularly effective in supporting and developing my understanding.

I'm feeling pretty confident about my practice and devotion to not worry about being the square peg in the round wholes at times. I view the person's voice the most important, but recognise in my 60 years how thoughts and feelings do change, and if you do not get the opportunity to tell others of change before this horrible disease comes upon you, one must look out for actions of the person to try to evaluate thoughts at that time. As 'that time' is the answer to support, in all situations, to allow an elderly to still have decision making ability and happiness in their view to be accomplished. Thanks Sue, you were brilliant with the discussion and training. Hope to see you again.

The training was fantastic and the relationship to other legislation was made clear. All questions were answered by the trainer. Good opportunities to be interactive.
