Simon Jelf is a fantastic teacher and such an engaging and humorous speaker. Somehow there was never a dull moment in an 8 hour day on Zoom, no small feat! He was kind and patient and answered all questions clearly and without judegment. He really prepared us well for worst-case scenarios in cross examination. I felt I was getting trade secrets and a real insider look at the whole process, I feel so much more at ease knowing what to expect and how to handle cross examination. He really de-mystified the the process.

I think this course was perfectly built for one day and covered the relevant parts of the fraud act. It felt it was sufficiently interactive to keep it interesting.

Really enjoyed the course, some areas fall more within criminal justice as opposed to employment law - terminology for example, victim would be complainant, some practices slightly differ to an employment environment as opposed to a criminal interview. Surprised also no reference to the ACAS code of practice which all our polices are aligned to and which would be taken in account within an employment tribunal. Would be good to have this included.
