I have had great enjoyment with this course.

Safeguarding children in the Early Years has crucial importance and has the aim of creating a secure environment for the little ones. This session covered a lot of subjects such as : legislation, guidelines, local authority, policies, procedures, how to keep children safe, and the 5 R' of safeguarding( recognise, respond, report, record, refer). The field of safeguarding is vast and must be thoroughly studied.

Fantastic unit, very interesting, very alarming, but drills home the importance of safeguarding, reporting, observations and transparent information. Found the information on the types of abuse interesting and although the case studies were harrowing really drives home the need for safeguarding and working with agencies. Tara's knowledge is incredible and the way she delivers it, holds my interest for the full evening.

The course was very good but difficult to hear sometimes due to echo in room

Dwight really gets my learning style and psyche. When I heard it was fractions decimals and percentages, my heart sank but Dwight made it all 'user friendly'. Thank you.

Dwight broke down the questions and helped me to understand much more than in previous lessons. I am now more confident. Thanks.
