I loved that Lesley split the session into two parts and has clearly remembered the issues with Cognitive Overload and scientific studies relating to information retention (the length of time before we start to lose focus) She did this by providing us with a short break mid way through. This helped me reflect and understand the topics already discussed and gave me the chance to refresh my mind ready for the next part of the session. It also showed individualisation, as Lesley knows that after 1 hour 30 mins, I start to get fidgety and can’t concentrate. I then stop retaining information. To have a very short break after a hour was absolutely perfect and I kept my focus throughout and felt comfortable. This is the first time I have seen a trainer do this and I felt it should be mentioned as a huge thumbs up!
