IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management Reviews

It's a lot of content to cover and digest in a short space of time. The activities are a helpful learning tool, but I didn't really feel I got to engage with them in depth and make best use of them. Though appreciate the course is catering to a variety of needs/ levels/ areas of interest. I find the Notes structure a bit hard to follow sometimes - can be unclear how/whether subsections relate to each other and the overall topic for each Part. Also not always immediately obvious how the Learning Outcomes link to the content. However, on balance, it's a pretty comprehensive introduction and overview.

I found that Rachel helped our learning by using some examples that may not have been provided in the slides.

James is an excellent presenter with the relevant knowledge and experience, ensuring that the course content was engaging and delivered using sufficient context / examples.

Good, but IT comms were an issue (Connectivity, sound levels/clarity). James is an engaging and knowledgeable trainer.

Ordinarily, I find online learning challenging, instead more comfortable with classroom based learning. However, James, was throughout very engaging and hugely knowledgeable providing real life scenarios that improved understanding.

James was Excellent, extremely knowledgeable and approachable. The content in the course should allow me to answer the questions in the exam.

I found the course really good & interesting. James as an instructor was really good and very knowledgeable which helped to understand the content more and it flowed nicely for the whole week. I would only suggest that the slides that James was sharing on the screen would be really helpful to have them shared with us to use as a revision purposes as some content was different to what was in the workbook that we have.

Course information needs updating in certain areas as instructor had to correct what the documents were saying sometimes

Rachael Gooding was an AMAZING trainer. Very engaging, very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. She made the course more enjoyable and really enjoyed the course. It definitely helped me for my current role.
