I found the beginning of the course intense. As the week went on I felt more at ease. Looking forward to now putting this in practice with support.

Kirstie demonstrated great passion, and the delivery was engaging throughout the course. However, during the first two days, I would have appreciated the opportunity to read through parts of the trainer’s manual independently and incorporate more of our own experiences into the teaching process, rather than going through the entire manual in detail. This would have made the sessions more interactive and allowed for greater practical application. Throughout the theory and assessments Kirstie was reassuring and thorough as was Rachel’s input and support. Feedback following the assessments was reassuring when I was feeling very nervous.

Kirstie and Kirsty, Liam and Rachel, made me feel very comfortable and confident. They are extremely supportive, professional and I have learned a great amount from attending the course.

The best course I have ever been on, all skills learnt I will use in my everyday practice when needed. I am now confident in breakaway techniques as well as the theory around the course. My trainer Kirstie was very knowledgable and worked in a person centred way throughout he course. I expecially enjoyed the presentation !!
