Being a participant on the train the trainer course has been amazing. Being taught and learning the material so that I am able to teach this to staff at my service is really useful as we will be able to make it very person centred and something will be able to be adapted and implemented in our service. I could not recommend Sherwood training enough for all services

The training was very effective, and information well communicated. Trainer gave opportunity to express themselves and supported in all situation. Trainer took her time to engage individuals when they are shortcoming. Big thumps to the trainer
Really enjoyed the PBS course with Kirstie. It was super interesting and packed with useful info. I’ve come away feeling much more confident in myself and my abilities. After the first day, I did feel a bit overwhelmed, but by the second day everything started to make sense. From then on, I felt really positive and motivated for the rest of the course. Massive thanks to Kirstie – I’m now feeling excited about what’s next!
Very good course which was led by trainers full of knowledge. Delivery and knowledge was very engaging and the use of real life experiences from other sectors. Thank you, I’ve had a great week and taken a lot from it.

I found the beginning of the course intense. As the week went on I felt more at ease. Looking forward to now putting this in practice with support.
Kirstie demonstrated great passion, and the delivery was engaging throughout the course. However, during the first two days, I would have appreciated the opportunity to read through parts of the trainer’s manual independently and incorporate more of our own experiences into the teaching process, rather than going through the entire manual in detail. This would have made the sessions more interactive and allowed for greater practical application. Throughout the theory and assessments Kirstie was reassuring and thorough as was Rachel’s input and support. Feedback following the assessments was reassuring when I was feeling very nervous.
