As a newcomer to this kind of environment and having not had any similar training beforehand I found this course extremely effective and I feel much more confident in what techniques to use, from primary strategies onwards. Sean was a fantastic teacher who took time to explain everything clearly and listen to everyone’s feedback and concerns about everyday situations and was able to offer straightforward advice and suggestions.
Fantastic knowledge from the trainer. Very supportive and understanding of staff needs. This is a must for anyone working with children, young adults and beyond. Would highly recommend
A really great course, I don’t feel there was any unnecessary content. The trainer was extremely knowledgable and covered everything clearly. Assessment although thorough never felt judgmental and mistakes were made to feel like nothing more than opportunities to learn. I look forward to reducing physical interventions moving forward.
Very good course and trainer. Trainer was prepared to discuss real world issues and apply guidelines to support our future decision making. Trainers are willing to provide further support to discuss further issues that may arise as well.
I feel there could have been more use of visual aids for the theory aspect of the course. Excellent demonstrations and help with techniques.
Chantelle was a good trainer, she appeared knowledgeable and made is easy for me to learn. it was really hot due to the weather those days but we had regular breaks and the air conditioning was later turned on
