This was my very first PBS training… I’ve been doing the PMVA for a number of years now and I just want to say that PBS training is so much better than the PMVA. The PI professionals (trainers) Charles and Martina are absolutely amazing. Charles is very clear and objective always making sure that the trainees understand the subject that was being taught. Martina absolutely nailed the physical part of the training. The all team and group were amazing
It was an excellent presentation from both trainers. I consider all techniques effective and appropriate in dealing with challenging behaviour within the health and social care sector.
The aims and objectives of how we are to implement PBS in our line of work with PIC was made clear theory and practically. Tools to use primary, secondary and Tertiary all explained and importance of using them.
Learned new techniques to help deescalate the client and support them to stay on the baseline. I believe I am mor competent and confident to work with su under challenging circumstances
Much better interactive day. Kirsty remained enthusiastic throughout. I do feel the previous 2 days could've been covered with elearning and today be the most useful and applicable.

Really enjoyed the practical and theory session today, Kirsty made all of the theory really link into what we see in a hospital setting. Made it feel like it is something we can follow when on shift
