Course was really insightful and emphasises the law around restraint and when it is legally and ethically appropriate to use it. It ensures that we know the restraint should be used as a last resort

Very informative. Plenty of breaks. A lot of humour during the course making it light hearted under serious circumstances. Both Liam and Amy were very engaging and made me feel comfortable in a new environment.
I really enjoyed the practical experience of the training and learnt valuable skills that I have never learned. Understanding trauma and lived of young people has helped me be more empathetic and understanding of how each individual is different. Without the training I would not have felt competent as a childcare worker. Great learning material
