RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,267 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

The training was excellent and essential for all the staff in healthcare. It helped us to have a better understanding about how had situations with patients can be dealt with. It helped us to identify different possible aspects of approaching a situation. Overall it was excellent.

This course has really been helpful, it teaches care givers how communication can be helpful and help calm a situation, and also things to say or ask a patient who is exhibiting “cues” signs. I am really happy and looking forward for a refresher training annually for staffs.

I enjoyed the course - a lot as a newbie to take on board, but it was taught in a manor that made the subject matter sink in - thank you - and thank you for answering my numerous questions!

Kirsty and Andy put me at the centre of training, ensuring our thoughts are listened to and explained everything well. Kirsty and Andy are very knowledgable and broke the information down and came down to our level. Kirsty and Andy ensured we understood and spent time supporting us. Excellent three days. Thank you
