I have ADHD so I can find training difficult, Liam and Kirsty made the course so engaging and took the time to make sure I understood and if I was struggling they took the time to explain it to me and never made me feel stupid, they made me feel confident. This is my 9th time doing Sherwood and each time I feel I learn something new which improves my practice. Matt’s training was no exception to this. Working with Matt has allowed the training to be more personal and relevant to the young people we work with. Matt is enthusiastic about Sherwood and the ethos was clear throughout. Matt made it very clear about health and safety and that RPI should be used as a last resort. Matt spoke from experience of working with children and gave anecdotal examples which are helpful and interesting. Matt is knowledgeable and approachable and able to articulate the what’s and why’s of PBS and restraint very well. Thank you, Matt.

The course was delivered well and at an appropriate pace. The trainer gave anecdotes to support the training materials, which made it relevant to our setting. We were able to ask questions throughout.
