RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,253 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

Amazing trainers, answered all questions with reasons for answers. Made me feel very comfortable during the training and went in depth when asked. Went through the whole course thoroughly

This is my 3rd time doing a Sherwood course or refresher and I can honestly say I learn something new every time. Dan and Nikola deliver the course professionally and honestly.

Excellent Sherwood course delivered well by both trainers. Every body had a chance to participate & go over all techniques until you feel comfortable & confident.

It’s been a pleasure being taught by Liam, he’s an outstanding guy and an even better tutor. He’s passionate, keeps the course engaging, and has nothing but the best interest of young people/ vulnerable adults at his core. Truly amazing and what an inspiring man

Liam Meakin was an outstanding trainer. Liam went above and beyond to accommodate the additional needs of the group and take in to consideration other aspects that may affect our learning. Liam was very kind and respectful and delivered the training in a way which was understandable. Liam is very knowledgable and answered all our questions gracefully. Brilliant trainer and an asset to Sherwood. Liam’s passion is apparent through his work.

Liam, I just want to say a big thank you for the way you supported me throughout the course. You didn’t just teach the material clearly, you made sure I felt comfortable, included, and able to learn in the way that suited me best. That meant so much, and it made a real difference to my confidence. Your patience, understanding, and the way you explained things really stood out. I felt listened to, encouraged, and guided every step of the way. I’m genuinely grateful for the positive learning experience you created.
