The course was informative and is very significant for my job . I always struggle with managing /communicating with people who go through different kind of emotions especially challenging behaviours . Ben was able to give me a more understanding on the behaviours of concerns / challenge and better approaches to deal them .

I found the course engaging and informative. I found the theory and information very helpful to be able to take different elements of PBS forward into my practice. It was a fantastic opportunity to reflect on my own practice and how I can improve, to help improve the quality of lives of the individuals in my care. Ben was a great teacher, engaging and supportive.

Ben was very engaging. I wasn't sure about the content of the course prior to coming (thought it was just going to be about restraining etc) but I feel as though i have learnt a lot of new skills and techniques to understand behaviour and deescalate situations and that I was actually doing a lot of these things already. One of the best courses I've been on in a while, thanks.

The trainer had great energy and a deep knowledge in the subject. The day was interactive and it was very useful to reflect on the most effective approaches and the evidence base to our impact on others behaviours.

This course applies to the area where I work. We have a lot of patients with dementia and display all of behaviours that have been discussed. I feel that this course has helped me to understand the triggers and what I can do with PBS in regards to de-escalating situations. The trainer was really easy to follow and included the group as a whole. It was really engaging and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the training.

This course was so insightful. As someone with a psychology degree it really brought back some familiar theories and it was good to hear more about them in relation to nursing practice. Ben was engaging and made sure to get people involved without being intimidating and made it a comfortable environment. I will definitely take a lot of the things back to try in everyday practice to try to improve my communication skills. I feel I could talk to Ben all day as he has so much knowledge but also listens and understands your perspective. Thank you!
