I have understood so much about triggers, where MY baseline is and how to distract. I have reflected on myself and my professional and personal self throughout the day. I have gain huge amounts of knowledge. Ben is fascinating and an engaging facilitator, I’ve really appreciated his openness and awareness.

This training needs to be done everywhere and span so many places, the education is so so important and the understanding that behaviour concerns are not people being difficult on purpose or trying to be awkward. I think so many people would benefit from this especially to tackle misconceptions and stigma surrounding behaviour and support and just challenging the attitudes of people who don’t understand! As someone who is autistic and has had a lot of ongoing experience in MH services I wish that the professionals who delivered care took this approach because it would massively have reduced trauma

I found the course really helpful but need to reflect on how can apply to my area of work. Feel need to develop increased confidence in using these strategies in an outpatient setting.
