Course was informative and made me think about how I act

I have enjoyed the course although there is a lot of content but things to take away and have further reading.

Interesting course, learnt about positive behaviour and how we can implement it in practice. Trainer was engaging and listening to everyone.

Really good session and interactive with whiteboard, booklet and team work. Good to see what can be done or what can be put in place before having to de-escalate a situation. However difficulty in applying some situations in A&E with a a busy department and limited staff/rooms, cannot isolate all kids with learning disabilities. Liam very interactive and engaging with the group, understanding of different work situations.

Lots to think about regarding learning difficulties, triggers and cues. To consider how to improve communication and create a calm environment to meet patients needs. To be more self aware.

Really informative and helpful. Relevant to my current practice which is appreciated. Both trainers were very friendly and approachable.

I gained much knowledge from today that I will take back to the department The day was interesting from start to finish
