Trainer was knowledgeable but lots of tangents which made it difficult to follow at times. Some content was rushed through when it seemed important to do slowly. Practical elements were all demonstrated well.

I feel competent now to deliver training to staff. There were some elements of the trainer's delivery style that I didn't feel were effective however over all if was satisfactory. The trainer would use his phone and eat whilst training which i didn't feel was appropriate. However Shahbaz was obviously very knowledgeable and covered all areas I was expecting to learn about.

Nice trainer but having never done moving and handling found it quite hard

Nina was fantastic, knowledgeable and engaging. I felt that the course could have included more techniques to show trainees rather than how to teach.

Nina was wonderful, very friendly and we enjoyed her company for the two days. For me personally, I would have gotten more from the training being shown more of how to deliver a session. For example, this is how I would train someone how to insert a slide sheet, and I would make sure to mention these points. Now please you demonstrate. As opposed to us just going for it.

The course can be more practical and informative. We have not learn anything new just demonstrated what we know.Trainer needs to give us the practical and correct method of moving and handling.

I found some of the content to be specific for residential care, which was not very appropriate for a surgical hospital environment. Dementia and delusions are rare in this hospital and not applicable to our manual handling training. Nathan was a very interesting trainer and kept us entertained.

Nathan is a very friendly and enthusiastic facilitator. His style is somewhat haphazard which doesn't gel with my preferred, more organised style of presentation. He appears to know his subject well but the content was not tailored to my area particularly well. I would have preferred more in depth information on the relavent legislation but the other delegates did not want this. On the whole Nathan is engaging and made the 2 days entertaining. I do not feel however that, as a new key trainer , all my needs were met.

Nathan was a brilliant facilitator, he was interactive, checked in with us throughout and tailored the learning accordingly. The content could have been better, there was a lot on dementure and delirium and not enough on the health and safety at work act, manual handling, Lolar etc. It course could have had a lot more interactive elements regarding assessment use of ELITE and AARR. I feel like this course is better set for community and care homes and not set for hospitals or train the trainer training. I feel the the service agreement was also an issue which should have been dealt with by the learning and development team and not the participants themselves. I think Nathan is a great asset and a brilliant facilitator- thank you
