John is an excellent trainer and makes the course very fun.
The face to face session was just a repeat of the on-line content and could have been completed in a half day session. The trainer made some comments about medical practice, that, as a medical teacher, I found unnecessary I.e., the method doctors use to diagnose and prescribe. Another story referred to how a medical condition the trainer had was treated incorrectly by a medical trainee who prescribed medicines, which according to a physiotherapist, should never have been prescribed for him. Medical trainees can suggest medicines but cannot prescribe. The trainer went on to say that on hearing where the trainer had been treated, a physiotherapist went on to say that he wasn’t surprised as the hospital was known as May Die! Would be important to remind trainers re health care ethics.
