Very informative course, designed to keep us safe.

This is an extra skill to allow me to improve in my exiting role and be equipped to contribute to any major incidnet.

The trainer kept us engaged with case files showing relevance to the course

would have been better to use CIW PAN's or something similar to use as the mock examples so we could learn how these could be improved etc.

Overall the course was very helpful and worth attending. I think the statement writing and report writing should have been two separate days or even just a day and a half rather than just the one day, to allow for a full exploration of both as we did not get to do a lot the the assessments and it would have been good if our assessments had of been marked or more discussion about them. All of the attendees had a lot of questions which was good as we were all very engagement but it meant that the day felt a bit rushed going over all the topics.

I enjoyed the session. It was relevant to a wide range of work roles. The group exercises were helpful in promoting discussion.

I felt the first hour was too long. I did not need to hear everyone's name and role and how they rated themselves. This could be even longer if there is a bigger group. I could see everyone's name and we know our roles. We did not need to spend too much time looking at objectives as we all want to make clearer, more factual records. Also the writing in the chat as to where we make records in our jobs was unnecessary as we all do the same role so everyone sharing that may help the trainer but I felt it just wasted time. I felt the fact/inference exercise was very good and also the practice of taking notes from a colleague's description of a journey. I feel more exercises like these would be helpful so that people are able to practice what the training is imparting.

VERY INFORMATIVE

Super interesting course, with a very engaging trainer. Role play exercise was great, if a bit daunting! Overall, very useful skills and understanding of court procedures gain, which I am sure will come very handy if court attendance is ever required.
