Highly relevant to my role. It was really useful applying the first test to a recent personal change - kept it practical and applicable. The role play was a really useful way of putting some of the material into practice using scenarios that would quite easily apply to my role. The aspects of acknowledging and celebrating milestones and evaluating are definitely things I will take back and implement that but for this course I probably wouldn't have done in a very joined up manner.

The course has fully met my needs to gain an insight into courtroom skills and how to be cross examined and what to expect. The role play was really useful and gave me an indication of the role of the judge as well and how the information from the expert is used to help the judge make their decision.

The trainer was very knowledgeable and has good examples of practice. The trainer remained compassionate and child centred in the training. Francesca gave good advice on using legislation to challenge MASH decisions to not accept for a CAF. The trainer was very engaging and brought everyone into discussion.

Really enjoyed it, thank you. I feel way more confident now and will be putting my learning into practice.

Amazing and engaging trainer

I was placed on this course working in a place where I may one day have to be the expert witness in my filed of work. Having already been to court as a witness I now have much better understanding of how the courts work and not to see it as a place to feel unconfident in my feild of expertise. I have taken so much away from today and also how hearing what others have to say in their fields of expertise.

Excellent training. The trainer set the course content at the 'right' level and pace to keep the candidates interest from start to end.
