Well structured course with regular breaks!:) Good use of breakout rooms for group learning. A very dense topic made more relatable and understandable by a knowledgeable trainer with relevant anecdotes.

Overall very helpful. Instructor very knowledgeable. I would have liked more feedback from the trainer following my cross examination sections. The first section in particular I only had one piece of advice 'remember to breath' which made me feel that I'd done a bad job. I don't think it was meant this way, but some positive feedback along with the advice would have been helpful.

Jim was a brilliant trainer full of knowledge and expertise which will prove extremely valuable to my role as a Trading Standards Officer. I liked the inclusion of the quiz, the memory test and the observation game as it made training engaging but also cemented the knowledge learnt that day

Not everything was applicable to my role, but I found a couple of good pointers on how to be a better record keeper.

Very good course, posed a few questions on further training we need in APHA

Good insight on understanding and interpreting the evidence effectively. The difference between circumstantial and hearsay evidence, which is crucial.
