so informative, gave real experiences (both by trainers and those attending). queries were dealt with in terms of group discussions that aided thought process and understanding. I feel this is not disclosure specific and should be provided as a case team learning tool, as the course cover aspects that would impact the case officer/ case manager and not just the disclosure officer.

Rhoda was very engaging and was very good at keeping peoples attention. I found it very helpful when she kept referring to actual cases that she has been involved in. Rhoda's background as both prosecution and defence lawyer was really beneficial as she gave us advice on the type of things defence would ask/look for. I do think that this course should be mandatory for all officers as I think it would be very beneficial for all officers in the case team as reasonable lines of enquiry examples were covered. Its also good for the case team to be aware how important input from the case team is within the disclosure process and how they can assist the disclosure officer.

The quantity of material provided as part of the pre-course reading was excessive. Then during the course, it was not feasible to read the digital forensic strategy in 20 minutes and formulate comments on it. Minimal real-life case studies for HMRC cases - while the police cases were fascinating, it would be good to have more practical HMRC examples of disclosure issues in practice. Rhoda and Emma were incredibly engaging and knowledgeable, and it made a very dry subject very enjoyable. I appreciated the flexibility of the course, and when there were conversation topics we needed to discuss as a group, the day's plans were shuffled to allow it.
