I found the session very useful and it has given me more practical skills and knowledge to apply when doing witness statements and appearing in court.
So good to have facilitation by an outside provider, all to often in house facilitation is clearly reading from a script with no life experience or technical knowledge of the subject matter.
The courtroom training course by Kelly was informative and interactive. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to develop their courtroom skills and knowledge.
John was great. Would have preferred the course to be more interactive.
John was an excellent and charismatic presenter who came across incredibly well. As a presenter, he was engaging and had excellent knowledge and his use of anecdotal examples was exemplary, emphasising his vast and valuable experience. However, this was a lot of words and not a lot of practical applications. Some interactive content such as role-playing, scenarios and feeding back in breakout rooms may have helped to vary the content and let me take more of it in and away.
Although, I feel more confident with the knowledge gained it is useful to use the information provided via training and slides within my job role.

Thoroughly enjoyed both days of Investigative Interviewing. Trainer was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and engaging, patient and understanding of all abilities. Delegates ranged from all abilities and the pace was perfect to meet everyones needs.
