The trainer was amazing - very interactive and engaging
Cross examination exercises started with an introduction of the case by the 'witness', to set the stage for the other participants and the trainer as well I guess. This is good, but the actual start of the cross examining exercise was not always clearly distinguished from the introduction. In most exercises, including my own, I found this a bit confusing and, for my own exercise, made it difficult to get myself in the correct position (attitude) timely. I think it would be better to indicate "now the introduction ends and the exercise starts".
Very happy with Nick and how he delivered the training, he clearly has a lot of experience which helps a lot. I was genuinely interested in what he was saying because he made it interesting and clear, also enjoyable. I feel much more confident IF I ever got called to court, albeit still nervous, but Nick reassured us this is normal and not a problem.
Trainer did a great job making the course interesting and keeping us engaged. Was very nervous about course before attempting, but trainer made everyone very comfortable and checked in with how we were feeling and I feel alot more confident about what I might face in court and what techniques etc I can utilise to stay calm and appear as a credible witness. Trainer spent time answering our questions and had plenty of anecdotes of life in court to keep us interested and to lighten the mood. I highly recommend him and the course and have recommended to my team if they are nervous about having to attend court that this course would be beneficial.
James has been very engaging and providing good amount of information that you can apply in practice
Great course, really focused on what was needed. Trainer was friendly, helpful and approachable.
Brilliant in helping prepare me for a court room experience. I learned so much.
Great course and I feel much more confident going into a courtroom situation now.
I really enjoyed Geraint Jones use of examples from his real experience to illustrate points
