The trainer was very knowledgeable and passionate around the subject. With this being a new area for me, I personally would have benefitted from more video's / visuals to be able put theory to practice. There was a lot to learn over four days, perhaps the course should have been delivered over a longer period of time.

Rod, Vern and Rae were very experienced people with a wealth of knowledge in the subject. Thank you.

Francesca was an excellent tutor. She has vast experience and knowledge and imparted this in an engaging way. She referred to individuals in their own roles which gave a personal touch and allowed real life suggestions and examples. The course content was a good balance of information and workshops. I have much more of an understanding of the law in these areas than I did two days ago. A lot of information to digest. Having the course content booklet will be helpful as a reference guide and I will also read through previous real life case examples that we did not cover in the course for both interest and further learning.

the course is relevant to my practice and it has equipped me with knowledge and skills needed for the job. I found the course empowering and eye opening, educative and informative. I feel like I am bursting with information. It has been a steep learning for me given my background of children social work. It can be overwhelming sometimes having to imbibe the legislations and the framework which underpin the role. The trainer was very good in helping to ease off the overload of information. It might help considering how the first day training can be tailored to the level of professionals who are not from the background of adult services to introduce them to the course. As it can feel like thrown in the deep end on the first day. Also if there can be room for at least two sessions of group work. But I am also mindful of the duration of the courses and whether there is room to add more content. Mor than one case study discussion would have been good.

Very useful for me as I am a relatively new to the team and have never done a technical deployment so it was really good practice.

I thought the trainer was excellent. Often with HMRC training you simply get a civil servant who has been asked to deliver it, this course however had an external trainer with a vast and interesting background in the subject. Very good

I found the course very interesting and the material covered will be applicable both in work and personally. I found the experience very valuable.
