The course is highly practical and relevant, providing clear legal frameworks and real-world examples that strengthen my confidence and competence as a would-be Best Interests Assessor. It equips me to deliver thorough, person-centred, and legally robust DoLS assessments in practice.

Found the course provider really encouraging and engaging.

Some of the materials and other people's case studies related to the civil court which was less useful. It would have been better if all participants were interested in the family court. However, I assume to make this viable the course would only have sufficient numbers to run a few times a year and being able to get onto the course more quickly is of greater value as the skills learned are transferable.
