It was a useful refresher, highlighted a disjoin between policy and what was possible. Appreciate widening knowledge is good, but trainer should be careful of being critical of the policy without understanding how it was derived.
Examples provided not relevant to area of practice. Very slow, feel like it could have been done in half the time.
Overall good general overview of the subject. Some helpful tips on how to do quick searches. The course cpntect is moreover gaged to wards Criminal. Civil Investigation is curtailed moreso by law & leg.
I appreciate that the course was general in a sense but it would have been great to have some written material to reinforce the learning from today
I feel I have benefited from doing this course today, because we were a small group it was nice and made it easier to ask and answer questions
we got slides but were not able to go through them, so it was a day of talking about negotiating and no practical exercises.
Would benefit from more clinical examples Virtual delivery makes interaction more challenging
Found aspects of course useful. There are some tools which will help in my role, however a lot of the content would apply more to an OSI and not an average officer, however this course has provided me more information on what an OSI can get for a case.
This course is probably better aimed at someone starting out in the field, rather than someone with more experience.
For me, the course didn't work well over Teams, I had heard a lot of really good feedback from colleagues who had attended this in person and it didn't live up to my expectations. Asking the same questions to every group after breakout sessions became monotonous. The trainer was very knowledgeable and did give some snippets of her own experience which were appreciated
