Very good session - the trainer (apologies, I can't remember his name) was clearly speaking through experience and knew his subject inside out. I could have quite easily asked about all sorts of related, but slightly off-piste cases (recently charged senior management team from a hospital that is in the press at the moment) and listened to his opinions.

Really useful to take the time to reflect on a previous report and link it to the wider context of the process and different stakeholder dynamics

Overall it has been a good course. I felt the case studies in the afternoon were very useful and the group work in the afternoon was useful. I felt that the note taking session, could have been clearer and probably better to have set examples to recite so that we can each do our own notes. Then share it on Zoom.

I found it interesting learning about the small differences that can take a person from being confident to arrogant. Insightful to learn about the c.o.r.e. model and that people are more likely to trust you if you tick all 4 of these, hoping to be able to incorporate these into my further communications. A few of the subjects covered within the course have also been covered in previous training, however due to the nature of the course was able to engage more and have more of an understanding of how these principles can be applied and practiced within the workplace.

Overall, it is very insightful and informative.

I found the course informative, although I felt some on the content was repetitive to other course I have attended. Overall there are aspects I will take forward in my role and I feel they will benefit my negotiating skills.

Overall this was a highly informative module, that provided an excellent addition to the other modules in the CUBS Criminal Certificate. It would, however, have benefited from some more interesting learning activities. The content for this module is quite dry and two days is a long time to sit in front a screen just listening. Although some anecdotes and worked examples were provided, more creative pedagogies would have made the content much more engaging.

The course was excellent, a little detail heavy but that's law! The trainer was knowledgeable, engaging and responsive and the materials were high quality. Highly recommended
