I would suggest all experts should take accredited learning as part of the requirements to operate as one, Bond Solon training is very thorough and is widely known to be a credible achievement

Although quite daunting regarding exercises where you are cross examined on a particular topic, the experience of being in that position, even though it was only simulated, was invaluable.

This is the sort of knowledge that will be useful for my professional career and life skills.

Technical issues initially as I had not been provided with the correct link but this was rectified quickly. A good range of training over the 5 days. I feel it would be useful to have a full model report to know the expected level of detail etc

Good third session. I don't think you can ever be 'ready' for expert witness work entirely, there is always a curve ball somewhere. But being able to practice in a safe space ... albeit a very demanding way ... I think it prepares you for many of the scenarios. I liked the 'dress rehearsal' in the morning actually, that was very good. I generally don't do very well on 'first goes', so being able to reflect on some (obvious points on reflection), was helpful. The discussion in pairs was also great as it really pulled into focus the ease in which we all speak in professional jargon without meaning to be exclusive and discuss nuanced issues such as bias.

I really enjoyed the course and found it a useful experience.
