This was my first workshop and it was really insightful. Each and every course topics of the day were really well handled. Evelyn explained and clarified how and what the targeted response will be,encouraged collaborative learning through team response and one to one brainstorming to get into the heart of the matter. It was very smooth sailing, and covered all the scopes of the topics. Also Evelyn conveyed how to achieve good grades and how to manage the word count. The diverse practical examples were the rich asset of the course.

As always this session was really informative and has helped to develop my understanding of what is required for this submission.

Super informative and the exercises kept us motivated

Very good and thorough

Lots of engagement and interaction which is one of the main reasons I opted for this CIPD Workshop route. Lorraine is really good a facilitating good discussion and I was impressed that throughout the session she was able to make it personable by relating an example back to a person's organisation (remembering their name, where they worked and key points that they relayed in the session earlier) - demonstrating that she was actively listening and taking note to make the session more purposeful for as many of us as possible. A fabulously put together session on 5LD03! It was great fun and I learnt a lot from Davina. Lots of engagement and interaction with group members - it helped that she had a sense of humour too!

The course was delivered to meet my learning style. I would of preferred it to be slightly quicker an focused more on the latter topics. however i learn from having discussions and the facilitator was fantastic at including everyone and making us feel comfortable a slight hiccup in that we didn't receive any pre-work however Davina adapted to this

It was a great course, the Davina was very knowledgeable and engaging ,I liked the content, however there were certain areas that for us were a bit obvious and probably we could have involved other areas liked what to consider in the design of the content, or methods for assessment the facilitation

Great energy

I did this course thinking it would be an enjoyable learning experience with a wide range of support available. Little did I know that you are simply given a 100 page study guide for each unit and told to crack on without any support. No webinars, no training, no student collaboration and no coaching. The VLE wasn’t interactive or visual. It was just full of resources that had been pulled from google which anyone could access. I should have used a different provider who offers a better learning experience for their students to get better value for money.
