Metacognition still a bit of a mystery. How do you get students to do it. Then do it better do it's more likely to have an impact. Especially when it is so hard to measure how do we/ known it is this that is having an impact

Previous training suggested flipped learning for homework this goes against it, which I agree with for Maths. I want to do smaller steps and break it down further.
