Very interesting and a good guide in how to handle distractions without being rude.

It goes to show that some people have no perception of the distraction they are causing.

The materials provided has given me a better insight to some challenges that managers need to to consider, also awareness of how some of the ideas can help within my own working practices

Useful information and more importantly reinforcing that i am using lots of these methods already in ensuring our team meetings are inclusive for all. i may try the sticky notes idea to promote the quieter voices in the team.

The pod cast kept cutting out for some reason which was a shame as I had to revert to the transcript. The content of what I heard, and read was really useful if you are managing a large virtual team but lots of tips such as the 3 C's can be utuliised in small teams too.

I found it reassuring that I am using these methods in my work with our team and that I can try to reenforce this more as a matter of course. Some of my team really lacked confidence when I took over the role but I feel that by using these leadership skills they are growing in confidence.

This is very beneficial in knowing how new starters should be treated, and not just go along as if they should know what everything means or can be done.

Like all the scenarios in these videos, it shows how to handle a situation without offending anyone.

It s good to understand when to ask for help rather than think you know it all.
