Only issue was not being able to play videos on the Webinars (NHS PC issue). Otherwise, the course was very insightful and believe everyone should go on this at some point.

As someone who suffers with her own mental health (depression and anxiety) I related to quite a bit of the course so I could add insight to how it feels, but also good to learn how to help myself and now be able to help others! John was great and understanding when some bits felt uncomfortable in the first webinar.

A very informative course that allows me to be better Trained to support others and recognise the symptoms of various Mental Health illnesses

Nick is extremely knowledgable and engaging. He puts across the content well, encourages group discussion, and is very supportive. The exercises were very useful, requiring us to consider how we would put the processes into practice.

Andrew is an excellent instructor with lots of knowledge on all the areas we discussed, he used his own experiences which was a great help in understanding how as mental health first aiders we can assist with those in mental health crises. I feel a lot more confident after completing the training and I hope to make a positive impact on those who are struggling.

The course was very informative and has raised my levels of awareness greatly. I feel more confident that i have the skills and tools to successfully help or get help for an individual who may be in crisis.
