I'm not much for acronyms and there's always a limit I feel to guidance on this subject. Within those boundaries I felt the course was valuable.

Zarqa and Mandy were friendly and approachable in their delivery. They made sure that participants felt comfortable in what was being delivered and made sure that we knew that if anything upset us we were ok to leave and they would check in with us. The exercises were set up in a way that allowed us to mix with staff from other departments/ centres which allowed us to work with a wider variety of people which was great.

The course itself was so informative and helpful - the trainers were brilliant to help with the reinforcement of what we learnt. I feel more equipped now to help others. I am so glad that I bought the manual - I much prefer a physical copy rather than the digital version as that wouldn't load all the time.

Great course, this is a vital course for anybody who lives or works with young people. Mental health issues are more prevalent in today's society and knowing how to recognize, help and support young people while they go through it is a valuable resource

Very knowledgeable and informative instructors who were able to give real life examples to bring scenarios to life in order to help embed learning and had open discussions to reinforce understanding
