The course was fantastic. Overall I learned so much and it has added to my professional development. One thing that would make a huge difference would be to have access to the Zoom recordings for a longer period - as a busy working mum I was not able to access the recordings straight away and so they were deleted after two days - the course is so intensive and there was work to do everyday, it was impossible for me to also access the recordings - I really would have liked to have had access to these for a week or two to really get the benefit.

A really helpful insight into administering the 2 diagnostic tests. It reassured me that professionals will all have different opinions and interpretations but the end goal - determining whether someone is showing evidence of an autistic condition - is usually agreed.

Great course overall, zoom being zoom made it hard at times to be as focussed as I would be in real life, but on the other hand obviously made it super flexible

I think the only thing that was 'missing' as it was an online course was the opportunity to practice administering the ADOS. I imagine had it been in person delegates would have been in pairs or groups to take it in turn to actually administer the ADOS. The only other comment is that at the beginning of Day 1 the trainers asked people to keep their cameras on, but some people never put theirs on, and as the course progressed more people had them off. I mostly kept mine on, and only turned it off if I needed to concentrate. But I then felt a bit 'exposed' as was aware that people could see me and I could not see them. I was tempted to keep mine off due to this and wonder if more people turned theirs off as the course progressed as others had? So, it might have been beneficial for the trainers to remind people of the etiquette of keeping their cameras on both for the benefit of the trainers to see people, and for the delegates.

The course felt well organised and well laid out. I thought the facilitator was engaging and highly skilled at managing the zoom format.
