Engaging, knowledgeable trainers make this first-aid course memorable, combining clear explanations and humour with hands-on practice in CPR, bandaging and AED use. Very little practical hands on content. I appreciate the new Covid environment, but the contrast with previous courses is stark.

We spent a lot of time on Defibs which seemed excessive when only one store out of around 12 in attendance had one. The course then skips through some of the most common First Aid calls in stores ie cuts, scrapes and burns. The only practical we did was on resuscitation and nothing on bandages which was always quite useful.

Due to covid restrictions we couldn't do a lot of contact learning but that isn't the fault of the course the trainer was very good
