Good delivery of course material. Some went over my head (Taguchi method) but would require more practice in my own time. Great!
Material was really well pitched a good amount of detail whilst being explanatory. Really liked that there were some worked examples that we went through on day 2. It was a little challenging on day 1 attempting to set up the test without the results but once we covered that on day 2 it all started to make sense. Great course will definitely use this in my PHD - thanks
I believe the course itself is valuable. However, because most people doing a PhD will have designed experiments before (although in a different manner) i feel as though a significant amount of the things covered on the first day could be summarized and covered within a couple of hours rather than a whole day. Apart from that i believe the practicals are really fun and enjoyable
Found the course very useful in terms of being able to vocalise ways I would naturally go about my research as well as learn new ways to elevate my methodology as a researcher. Gillian Stockdale was a very engaging and insightful trainer, she was a major reason that I enjoyed this course.
Course was full of information. Think it could have been more interactive and more relevant to our everyday working lives so it is easy to follow
Great course - would say its more directed towards people with a base knowledge of Finance & Payroll. Maybe offer a 'beginner course with more one one one guidance' - for someone like myself who is brand new to Payroll and is still getting to grips with the basics. I've learnt a lot, but have found the calculations particularly difficult and would need more then the time allotted to fully comprehend it.
It was a very engaging course that offered plenty of insights and valuable tools for managing projects. I will refer to the coursework material to help me plan, implement, and execute future projects.
There is a lot to take in and I am glad to have the slides to go over in my own time.
Clear, concise, knowledgeable, and friendly tutor. I would have liked more working examples to ensure I can conduct the PAYE/NI calculations accurately, although there's still a little time left on the last session so this may be yet to come. My only other suggestion would be to not have all the slides in a deep blue colour, so that they're more printer friendly! And to have them available well in advance to print off so that I can add notes during the sessions.
