I feel much more confident in being able to spot the signs and ask

I'll never be totally confident in this but I liked the stock phrases and feel I could use these. "Sometimes when people ... they think about taking their own lives. Do you think about taking your own life?"

Alex really helped me to think about how the young person may be feeling and how we can support them.

Excellent course. Really relatable and practical. I now feel very confident to help someone with suicidal thoughts.
