This course has taught me skills to help someone in need.

The course was very informative and eye opening. Relevant to all professionals no matter what role you play in peoples lives. Would also recommend this course to parents.

This course was really useful to me, as although I have experience of supporting students who have suicidal thoughts, it has given me a deeper understanding of why it might happen, how people may present and the language and scripts which I can use when supporting a YP. The pace of the day was perfect. The venue was a blessing, as airconditioned on one of the hottest days this year! The trainer was engaging and knowledgably and very approachable. Loved it!

The course was delivered in a very practical way. There was always clarity on how the model of deescalation is being explained. There is a clear framing on what the core beliefs are, what to expect and how to handle the difficulties. Overall, every minute gave us useful handy tips.

Exceptional course with an excellent tutor. Joy lives up to her name, what a beautiful human with a wonderful ability to inspire confidence in others on such a stigmatized and difficult subject.

A great course, a lovely small group so that you felt safe and confident to share. Well delivered and a lovely venue with a lovely garden to sit in for lunch.
