I found the course really informative and helpful, particularly the structure of the PEACE model which gave me a clear framework for conducting interviews. The practical exercises were especially useful as they allowed me to apply what I’d learned in a realistic setting. I now feel more confident in planning and structuring interviews.

The whole training was very good and interactive. Everything was explained clearly and repeated when required.

I found the investigative interviewing (PACE) refresher course extremely valuable and enjoyable. Although I already have experience conducting PACE interviews in my role as a Health and Safety Inspector, the course provided a helpful recap of key principles, good practice, and structured interviewing techniques. It reinforced my existing knowledge while also offering useful reminders and updated guidance. The practical elements and discussion of real‑world scenarios were particularly beneficial. Overall, the course has strengthened my confidence in planning and conducting effective, compliant PACE interviews.

Very good information and very applicable to my line of work. Will find it very useful. Really enjoyed the training. It was lively and engaging and easy to follow and the trainer really knew his subject matter well.

Everything - there has been extensive insight into the theory behind, and practical aspects of, interviewing, its purpose and key issues to consider. The teaching experience has been fantastic in comparison to other courses I have been on. Jim has clearly underpinned the course with a clear grounding in core teaching principles. His style is methodical, but far from slow. The course is pitched correctly, clearly and methodically planned, and most importantly engaging and underpinned by his own professional experience. The combination of teaching approaches, the engagement and practicality of the course exercises, and the variety of recall and practice opportunities is really refreshing. Excellent delivery again and useful having 2x trainers to assist with acting out scenarios during the training. Like the use of acronyms as it makes things more memorable & easy to use during an interview.
