Management Apprenticeship - Level 7 (Day 4) Reviews

It was quite a long day today, or felt like it. We covered the same ground a few times (structure of the coursr, EPA etc), so perhaps that could have been condensed.

The course and pace works well for me. I would have liked more detailed work on the theorists.

Today’s workshop gave an excellent understanding of portfolio building and the course requirements.

Session was good, but more care needed on course dates/ timeliness as causes confusion

Course is great. But finding what I need feels more of a challenge than it should be. Hopefully it’s a glitch and will be sorted.

There was a lot of information to take in today and I'm worried I didn't retain a lot of it, but I think that's an unavoidable part of the apprenticeship. As usual the day was broken up into activities as well as listening which helped increase retention and reduce overwhelm and the opportunities to work with Peers was very helpful. I particularly found it useful going through the STAR process and KSBs with a peer as I was feeling a little daunted, and concerned that my examples were not of sufficient quality - she helped me see how I could demonstrate the learning and implementation.

Today's session could have been a very dry and intense session, however, Jo, Brendan and Sophie managed to make it very rich and reassuring at the same time. I felt very supported through the day (although needed to step out and was late due to commute). Thank you to Brendan for staying behind and helping me to navigate through the assignments.

Online but everything worked well

Always enjoy session with Happy. I find the session really engaging, even those online. There is also a lot of interaction with the cohort.

I like being online but I also like being in-person as it allows you to build person to person relationships outside of the tasks and task groups making you more likely to call on them for help and support.
