Rudy is a great teacher, explains everything from the basic level, great sense of humour and keep the class engaging.
He is very patient and always willing to repeat or explain things in different ways until everyone understands. The trainer created a comfortable and supportive learning environment. He shared many helpful shortcuts and real-life examples that made learning easier. His teaching style is clear, structured, and easy to follow. I appreciate his encouragement and positive attitude during the session.
It's a very nice and useful opportunity for me to learn. I corrected some of my bad habits on Excel, and learned more formulas, which are very useful and practical for me.
I came into the session feeling nervous about my excel skills. I have finished the course feeling better but I would say it would be great if the sessions could cater more to visual learners. I often missed things the teacher was saying and fell behind in excersizes. I find when it comes to complex systems it's best to show someone on a screen step by step how to do something. I also felt slightly discouraged by the teacher at the midway point as he asked me if I was finding it difficult would I want to continue the course. I know he was trying to be sympathetic but I found the later half of the day easy to understand. If I'd left at lunchtime I would have missed out on learning more in the afternoon! Really nice guy though and I get where he was coming from.
I would like for Rudy to come back to give us more classes. This class was amazing and we should have it more often.
He really broke things down to the basics in a way that is really easy to understand, there are practical exercises which help you learn as you go with no pressure to get things perfect - really helpful for people who do not feel too confident in these settings
The course is very well explained. I really liked Rudy's teaching process, where he has us perform the action/formulas in our heads, and then explain how we can translate that into excel. I will bring forward and remember what he said about creating a process and teaching excel how to do that for you.
