Simon was an amazing teacher, providing brilliant knowledge and experience delivered through a very thorough and helpful teaching style, based solely on my experience with him as a tutor I would recommend the course to others. The equipment supplied was old and outdated however. Considering the price of the course per person students should not have to dig through a ‘waste wire bin’ because new rolls of wire weren’t available, Simon accommodated the shortfall of supplies by giving suitable tasks to each student, he is an asset to the establishment in that regard. The cost of new equipment is minimal in comparison to the price of the course and simply shocking, as someone paying roughly £1600 I find this ridiculous to deal with.

Another enjoyable course with plenty of practical experience. Bit disappointed the complimentary lunch has stop.

Dissappointed that lunches are no longer provided having attended courses there in the past. Other than that it was a great course and Simon is a top bloke.

tutor and course contents was good however a lot of the components used when building circuits were sub standard and this made it more difficult to work with. Also there used to be food provided but this has stopped which is a shame as would make it better if you didn't have to leave site to get some snap.

A good course overall, I would be interested to find out if the course is cheaper as a result of Lunch not being provided since the Catering Contract was stopped? The equipment we used in general was in good condition, although there were a few issues regarding damage to screws and internal faults (Good experience for us in Fault Finding)

Mostly very good. The course materials perhaps need a refresh, as do some of the parts and equipment used; but by and large, it was useful and well delivered.

The course has been great so far. The only thing I would recommend is numbering the student learning pack with numbers so the content can be easily found. But coming from a mechanical background I have found this course Incredibly valuable and I am hoping to take what I have learnt in to the work place with me and continue to learn as I go along in my career.

I would like to say Alistair was an excellent tutor, he was. very knowledgeable, he answered every question and he took time to talk me through the circuits, I’m mechanical by trade and he made the course interesting and made the course content easy to understand. I will be definitely be coming back to technique to do my plc course especially if the instructors are as good as alistair. I will also be telling my work mates in the Army about technique learning solutions and how good my experience was.

Tutor was a brilliant guy and very knowledgeable. But at times we went off on tangents and made the subject far more complexed than it need to be. But overall I found the course beneficial
