The trainer was very experienced which came across in the way the course was structured. The material was engaging, there was the right amount of theory V practical exercises. The trainer Pam shared her real-life experiences where appropriate which I found very valuable and reminded me of the sorts of occasions when 1st Aid training were put to great (and sometimes lifesaving) use. Pam ran the course in a timely manner - keeping it on track.
Pam was really engaging, she brought up a lot of relevant examples that could happen to us and examples we should be thinking about. She knew when we had too much information and gave us breaks accordingly. She was flexible within the timings and made the session very informative but also entertaining as well.
The course was very informative and active. Mark is very resourceful and didatic. I enjoyed not having a PowerPoint presentation and even more that there were a lot of hands-on activities. I learned a lot of new things such as how to use and how to improvise a touurniquet, as well as refhed my meory about the first aid techniques I already knew. It was a great course and I'd like to do it again in the future.
Silviu was fantastic. Very well informed, went well above beyond, made it memorable, engaging and relevant. He is a passionate advocate for First Aid and safety and we were lucky to have him train us.
Mark was very good: clear, informed, and with a wealth of expertise. Didn't waste time and stayed on task throughout.
