The trainer was very good and informative encouraging everyone to take part and give feedback. made it a very enjoyable experience.
My book didn't come until quite late into the course so that was why I didn't score 5 and of course because we had to complete the course online. I think it's always easier if you are in a room together however it did still work really well. Ross did a great job of informing, co-ordinating and bringing us together in an environment where we felt we could trust and share stories with each other which I think gave us all an enriched experience.
Brilliant instructor, very detailed and open to discussions.
An excellent course and one of the best I have ever attended. Simon, the instructor, was very knowledgeable, welcoming, friendly and supportive. He resolved any technical issues with ease and kept us all engaged throughout the course. It was refresher training for me and I got a lot out of the course - I would recommend it to anyone considering volunteering to be a mental health first aider.
very well run course given it was online. home distractions make it more challenging though but Simon did an excellent job of overcoming these
Simon was great from the very beginning, made us all feel at ease. People were sharing some very personal stories but we all felt safe to do so. the course was informative and interesting and couldn't recommend it more.
Very informative course. Enjoyed learning and being part of it.
I enjoyed the course and it was certainly an eye opener for me and made me think/approach things in a different way. It was hard going at times but the trainer was brilliant and I felt that he was very approachable and supportive.
