PC Private Equity Transition Reviews

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience in the Private Equity Transition with Daniel. I took the Core Comprehensive course a few months ago, and although I also enjoyed that course, this one is more tailored to my firm. I recognize that each segment within finance operates differently, and that it is difficult to represent everyone. Nevertheless, I learned a ton over this week and would recommend TTS to anyone. Daniel did a great job of bridging together the coursework with his real-world applications, which made it all the more engaging. I also had extra time to dive deeper on concepts I was curious about, because I had a unique opportunity to take the course by myself. Daniel was extremely patient and adaptive to my learning style, and I was very impressed by his ability as an instructor. I look forward to applying what I learned in the classroom to my career as I continue to gain experience in the industry.

Rubin was awesome. He went at the perfect pace and he always took the time to explain important concepts to us in a manner that was easy to understand. I'd highly recommend Rubin as an instructor to anyone who's thinking about taking a TTS course.

Felix was an excellent instructor. I really appreciated all of the knowledge he shared and also how diligent he was in helping me and others in the class learn all of the material.

Good content and it was taught really well

Van was great! He taught the theory and concepts involved in the modelling and not just the mechanics. As someone with a non-traditional background, I found that conceptual understanding really helpful.

I liked days 1-3 and thought days 4-5 could've been consolidated into a single day with additional curriculum added for day 4.

Daniel did an amazing job instructing the class through dense and long days of content. He has a great user face and relatability to him that allows people to feel like they can ask questions and pause for something they didn't necessarily understand. Additionally, having David in the room as a co-teacher made moving through so material doable. Without David, I think all of our questions would have slowed down the pace of content and / or how much we got through. Having two instructors for this type of class I think is critical.

Michael was great to learn from, he was clear and concise and felt like he wanted to help you learn and understand each item. The approach made the class very collaborative and helped to eliminate any tentativeness for anyone to speak up / get to know each other. The content was helpful and very in-depth. I walked away feeling much more confident in my skills. The only negative was that it was slightly difficult to find the venue and was an ok location at best, but not overly impressive.

Daniel was a great instructor!! He adjusted to the pace of the class, made it engaging / interactive, and knew when to time breaks / brain games. I enjoyed having the extra day (now 5 days instead of 4) to spend more time in excel modeling. Don't think I would have felt this accomplished in 4 days as it would have been rushed. It was nice to have two days to work through the modeling case study at a steady pace. I learn better in person, so this was nice to be in a classroom where I felt more engaged and could ask questions live. Highly recommend TTS!
