The Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA® for short) is a leading financial adviser qualification. Approved by the FCA, this qualification will prepare those looking to become a financial adviser with the necessary skills required to offer advice on retail investment. Designed specifically for those entering the industry, this easy-to-follow financial adviser course helps you develop your practical knowledge as well as tutoring you in the relevant theory.
The DipFA® is a level 4 qualification registered with Ofqual in the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and can take just 9 months of part-time study to complete.

What you will learn
The DipFA® courses teach the whole syllabus including exam technique. DipFA® consists of two units which are assessed with both multiple choice and written exams, case studies and coursework assignments.
The DipFA® qualification consists of two mandatory units:
Unit 1 – Financial Services Regulation and Ethics (FSRE) This unit is assessed through a 2-hour objective exam comprising 90 multiple choice questions and 2 case studies with 5 linked multiple choice questions.
Unit 2 – Advanced Financial Advice (AFA) This unit is assessed through a combination of a written assignment and short answer questions, as well as a 3-hour typed exam based on a pre-released fact find.
Upon completion of your DipFA® qualification, you will be awarded certification and may add the designation ‘DipFA’ after your name, letting potential employers and clients know of your qualified status.
