Goal:

We invest a great deal in people development and run various learning programmes across the business, but we struggled to drive participants to provide feedback and, in turn, measure the impact and application of knowledge through the learning we develop. Our learning management system has an inbuilt survey, but it could only be sent out retrospectively, and participants were less likely to complete the feedback form once out of the session.

We needed a system that would inform us whether our workshops were meeting the objectives and learning needs of the participants. We wanted to be able to utilise the data and turn our learner feedback into actionable insights.

Results:

  • Response rates: We’ve seen a significant increase in response rates. Gathering and using feedback is now inbuilt into our L&D offering to make better data driven decisions in relation to learning.
  • Quality improvement: We use Coursecheck to gather useful data that informs decisions around how we could adapt our programmes to meet the needs of our learners and drive improvement.
  • Time saving: The autonomous aspect of Coursecheck means that our suppliers can easily access the live link or QR code themselves. Feedback can be viewed instantly and shared with our suppliers and key stakeholders in the firm via a link that updates in real-time.
  • Visibility: We can review insights from Coursecheck, not just about how effective the workshops or programmes are, but also understand about how engaged our audience are with facilitators and our training providers. This can then be fed into the annual reviews that we hold with each supplier.
Coursecheck has been instrumental in helping the L&D team gather useful data around our formal learning programme so that we can act quickly and respond to the learning needs of team members across the firm.
