James was very patient and taught the material very well and in detail. I thoroughly enjoyed the course as it stretched and developed my financial as well as my Excel knowledge.

The trainer is very kind, approachable and supportive. The content is overall well explained with many good examples and exercises to practice with. Overall, I really enjoyed the training course.

As a University student studying Business Management I found it extremely useful to take part in the AMT Training for excel fundamentals. It explains well to the user the importance of right and wrong when using excel and educates the most efficient way to use the program. I definitely came out of this course with more knowledge on how to use Excel as my exam results prior and after the course rose. One section that I was left quite confused on was functions. I was not following it that well and I feel I gathered little information from them at times. It may be personal to the user, however, I did not acknowledge the importance to functions so I did not interact with them as much compared to all the other activities which I thought were completely fine. On the other hand, the training on functions is still well explained and carefully informs what to watch out for and different methods to execute the same tasks. This was definitely important since when practicing myself, I did many mistakes which resulted me in repeating the videos to what I did wrong. The Excel Fundamentals case study was the highlight to the course because that is where I felt most engaged and focussed. It is a useful step by step guide on how to complete a model, where you get to follow numerous videos in how to do so. You get a template to complete and you are also left with some freedom and creativity to practice it further yourself as there are more than one way to complete the model. From this case study I also picked up on some mathematical skills, such as the way Excel calculates data as well as how to calculate different bits of information handed out in front of me. Overall, a great experience to understand the fundamentals of Excel and it helped me understand the significance to Excel in the first place, a necessary tool. There are no worries to how things were explained and taught in this course as I successfully learned most of the content taught. Additionally, learning online may seem tedious at first, however the layout on the course with videos to help you complete tasks was easy to understand and therefore it was well created. I think this course can definitely be used for individuals of my age, as it can be used to state that you have an understanding of how to use Excel which may be appealing in certain workplaces. This may be personal to my audience, however, I would love to learn more about calculations within Excel in this course and why we calculate things in certain ways, like equations. This is because there was a point towards the beginning in the case study where I felt like I was just following what I was being told to do without knowing why I am actually doing it however, this was mostly not the case.

The training was great, Felix is a super nice professor and a true expert in the topics.

I enjoyed the course very much! It was not too technical - i.e.: focusing on academic knowledge - instead, we talked about real life events, which helped me put in context everything I learned so far about finance. With that said, whenever I had a technical question, the trainer explained it very well. Overall, I liked the training and thought it was useful!
